Nominations Invited
APA invites nominations for the Frank J. Menolascino Award for Psychiatric
Services for Persons With Mental Retardation/Developmental Disabilities. This
award was established in memory of Frank J. Menolascino, M.D., who was an
authority on mental illness in persons with mental retardation/developmental
disabilities.
The award honors an APA member who has made significant contributions to
psychiatric services for persons with mental retardation/developmental
disabilities through direct clinical services and/or dissemination of
knowledge in this field through teaching or research.
The award carries an honorarium of $500 and will be presented at the
Opening Session of the APA Institute on Psychiatric Services on October 2,
2008.
The deadline for nominations is May 4. More information is available
