Nominations Invited for Minority Fellowship Achievement Award
APA invites nominations for its 2008 Jeanne Spurlock Minority Fellowship
Achievement Award. This award recognizes the outstanding achievements of
alumnae and alumni of the APA minority fellowships and encourages continued
involvement in the fellowship program.
Nominations should include a brief letter describing the nominee's
contributions and details about his or her qualifications for the award and
the nominee's curriculum vitae.
The deadline for receipt of nominations is April 30. Previous award winners
include Irma Bland, M.D., William Lawson, M.D., Patricia Ordorica, M.D., Mindy
Fullilove, M.D., Robert T.M. Phillips, M.D., and Michelle Clark, M.D.
Nominations should be sent to Tana Grady-Weliky, M.D., Chair,
