Psychiatric Practice & Managed Care

What's Your Experience With Medicare Part D?

APA's Office of Healthcare Systems and Financing is continuing to monitor the implementation of the new Medicare Part D prescription drug benefit. Information is being collected by e-mail at PartD{at}psych.org and phone calls at (866) 882-6227.

Information from these reports is being used in discussions with senior staff at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) in an effort to ensure that the Part D prescription drug plans comply with CMS's guidances on the need for continuity of care for patients being treated with antidepressants, antipsychotics, and anticonvulsants. {blacksquare}
