- In the August 18 issue, the person in the photograph accompanying the story
titled "When Stress Gets Severe, Police Turn to POPPA" was
misidentified. The photo depicts Bill Genet, the founder and director of
Police Organization Providing Peer Assistance, commonly known by its acronym,
POPPA.
- In the September 1 issue, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention
was inadvertently omitted from the list of funding sources for the study
discussed in the article "New Data Add to Puzzle About Antidepressant,
Youth-Suicide Link."
- In the September 15 issue, an article about the winners of the 2006 Voice
Awards should have stated that one of the sponsors of the awards is the
American Psychiatric Foundation. These awards honor television, film, and
radio writers and producers for creating dignified, respectful, and accurate
portrayals of people with mental illnesses.
