Vergare Appointed To AMA Committee
Michael Vergare, M.D., of Philadelphia, who is chair of the Department of
Psychiatry at Thomas Jefferson University, Thomas Jefferson University
Hospital, Albert Einstein Medical Center Health Care Network, and Belmont
Behavioral Health, has been appointed to the AMA's Psychiatric Residency
Review Committee.
"We are at a critical time in psychiatric education as we determine
how much to focus our attention on traditional didactics and how to prepare
our residents for the future," Vergare said.
