Psychiatric Practice & Managed Care
|
Be Prepared
To help psychiatrists navigate managed care policies and ensure they will
not get bushwhacked by the next permutation of rules and regulations issued by
insurance companies, APA's Committee on Managed Care is presenting the
workshop "Managed Care: Past, Present, and Future" at APA's 2005
annual meeting in Atlanta.
The workshop will be held Monday, May 23, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in Room
A410 on level 4 of the Georgia World Congress Center.
Although some pundits have been declaring that managed care is dead, the
doctors who participate in managed care networks know that is not the case.
For many years now APA's Committee on Managed Care has been working to keep
members informed about the latest developments and issues in managed care,
and, perhaps even more important, what the future may hold.
