Stewart Elected Foundation President
Altha J. Stewart, M.D., has been elected president of the American Psychiatric Foundation. Her term began January 1. She succeeds Abram M. Hostetter, M.D., who retired from the foundations board at the end of 2003 after five years as president.

"I am honored to have the opportunity to serve as the president of the foundation," said Stewart. "I hope to continue the foundations focus on patients and families through programs that encourage early intervention and increase access to care."
