ABPN Announces Oral, Written Subspecialty Exam Dates
The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) has announced the dates for its written and oral certification examinations and psychiatric subspecialty examinations.
The Part I written examination will be given on November 5, 2003, and the application deadline is February 1, 2003. (The application deadline has already passed for the examination being given this November.)
The Part II oral examination will be given in Baltimore September 29 to October 1; Seattle on January 10 to 12, 2003; Chicago on May 11 to 13, 2003; and Indianapolis on September 12 to 14, 2003. The application deadlines for these exams are available by contacting the ABPN (see below).
The child and adolescent psychiatry examination will be given November 15 to 17 in San Antonio and November 14 to 16, 2003, in Milwaukee. The application deadline for the 2002 examination was May 1; the deadline for the 2003 examination is May 1, 2003.
The subspecialty examination in clinical neurophysiology will be given next on April 1, 2003; the application deadline is September 1. The next administration of the forensic psychiatry examination will be April 3, 2003, and the application deadline is also September 1.
