PSA on Youth Suicide

The January 18 issue of Psychiatric News included an excellent article about the prevention of youth suicide. I would like to let readers know that APA has available an excellent public service announcement, produced by Industrial Light and Magic, the producers of the special effects in "Star Wars," on the subject of adolescent suicide.

A copy of the public service announcement can be obtained from APA’s Division of Communications and Marketing for use on television stations and at educational programs. Local organizations can add their own tag lines. It is a powerful and effective 30-second addition to any presentation on the subject.
