American Psychiatric Foundation Launches New Web Site
The American Psychiatric Foundation has entered cyberspace. The foundation, which is a charitable and educational subsidiary of APA, has launched its new Web site at www.PsychFoundation.org. This new site will provide information on these and other topics:
- Programs funded by the foundation and their impact on psychiatry
- How to apply for a grant, fellowship, or award
- How to make a charitable gift to the foundation
In addition, the new site features the Mental Illness Resource Center, which offers information on mental illness and its treatment for patients and their families.
